Un vino che nasce dal viaggio Numero non racconta i luoghi attraverso il vino. Li fa accadere nel bicchiere. Ogni anno prende forma un vino nuovo, modellato da strade percorse, incontri inattesi, emozioni vere. Un vino che cresce con il tempo e con chi lo vive. Nei passi che facciamo. Nei porti che attraversiamo. Nelle storie che scegliamo di portare con noi. Numero non è un vino-cartolina. È un viaggiatore. E ogni ritorno è una storia diversa da raccontare.

All’inizio Numero era solo un’idea che imparava a camminare. Una cantina errante. Una visione nomade.

Nata dall’istinto, cresciuta a piedi nudi tra le vigne, spinta dal vento e da un desiderio selvaggio di esplorare.

Un vino che assomiglia a una ballata stonata di Bob Dylan: ruvido, sincero, vivo.

Lui, architetto visionario della Valtellina, già fondatore di Dislivelli nel 2020.

Lei, sommelier dal cuore ribelle, arrivata in Valtellina a bordo di una Mini Cooper anni ’90, inseguendo storie da ritrovare dentro un bicchiere di nebbiolo alpino. I loro nomi sono Maria Elena. e Gian Piero. Si incontrano nell’estate del 2022. Una deviazione inattesa., Una sosta a Bevagna, in Umbria.. Una vigna dimenticata li trova prima ancora che loro trovino lei. Un mese dopo sono già innamorati. Così nasce Numero: una cantina nomade che scrive la storia non scritta del vino naturale più libero. Vita freestyle. Nessun copione. Solo intuizione.

2022 — BRAND BORN OUT OF A BEAT

Il vino come arte. Il viaggio come respiro. L’amore come carburante. Numero non segue un piano: segue un battito.

Maria Elena e Gian Piero intrecciano le loro passioni: vino, arte, movimento e danno vita a qualcosa di personale, audace, radicalmente indomabile. Ma mancava ancora un segno. Un volto. Un simbolo. La scintilla arriva da un disegno del 1969 di Gianni Secomandi, artista della storica Galleria Numero, fondata da Fiamma Vigo negli anni Cinquanta. Da lì il nome: Numero. L’originale. L’unico. L’irripetibile. Le etichette prendono forma ispirandosi alle linee poetiche e selvagge di Kengiro Azuma, altro spirito libero del ’69..

Natura. Passione. Armonia. E una necessaria dose di anarchia. Maria Elena e Gian Piero non inseguono le tendenze: aprono sentieri. Per loro il vino naturale non è una moda. È un manifesto. Ogni scelta nasce dall’equilibrio tra terra, persone e tempo. Niente scorciatoie. Niente chimica. Nessun compromesso. Solo uva. biologica. Fermentazioni spontanee.

Contenitori naturali. Niente legno. Niente acciaio. Solo argilla.. Il vino deve parlare da sé. Senza filtri. Senza effetti speciali. Senza menzogne.

It’s a traveler. And every return is a different story to tell.

TWO PEOPLE. ONE DIRECTION: FORWARD

At the beginning, Numero was just an idea learning how to walk. A wandering winery. A nomadic vision. Born of instinct, raised barefoot among the vines, driven by the wind and a wild desire to explore. A wine that feels like an off-key Bob Dylan ballad: raw, honest, alive. He, a visionary architect from Valtellina, already founder of Dislivelli in 2020. She, a sommelier with a rebellious heart, who arrived in Valtellina behind the wheel of a ’90s Mini Cooper, chasing stories to rediscover inside a glass of alpine Nebbiolo. Their names are Maria Elena and Gian Piero. They meet in the summer of 2022. An unexpected detour. A stop in Bevagna, Umbria. A forgotten vineyard finds them before they find it. One month later, they are already in love. This is how Numero is born: a nomadic winery writing the unwritten history of the freest natural wine. Freestyle life. No script. Only intuition.

Wine as art. The journey as breath. Love as fuel. Numero doesn’t follow a plan: it follows a heartbeat. Maria Elena and Gian Piero weave together their passions—wine, art, movement giving life to something personal, bold, radically untamed. But something was still missing. A sign. A face. A symbol. The spark comes from a 1969 drawing by Gianni Secomandi, artist of the historic Galleria Numero, founded by Fiamma Vigo in the 1950s. From there, the name: Numero. The original. The only one. The unrepeatable. The labels take shape inspired by the poetic, untamed lines of Kengiro Azuma, another free spirit of ’69.
